With the High-Power-Solution a specially configured and dimmable LED power supply is used at an output channel of the SunRiser light control. This so-called master/slave operation allows a connected load of up to 480W (-10%) per channel on one SunRsier!
Functional description:
In the standard application, a SunRiser draws power from an LED switching power supply and routes it to the LEDs via its output channels. Thus the maximum possible number of LED bars to be connected is limited by the maximum power of the power supply, or by the maximum connected load of the controller and the individual channel. In the example of the SunRiser 8 this means a maximum of 240W/12V. With extensive projects, the limit of feasibility is quickly reached and a 2nd or 3rd system is needed.
High-Power-Solution: The master/slave solution described below offers a significant increase in power. As master serves one of our "standard" LED switching power supplies of any power. The 35W model is already sufficient, and only supplies power to the lighting controller itself. As slave, specially configured LED power supplies are connected to the output(s) of the lighting control system. These are available with a connected load of 120W, 192W or 480W (minus 10% reserve). A single SunRiser 8 can thus control a maximum of 8x 480W/12V (-10%), which would correspond to e.g. approx. 120 eco+ LED bars of 100cm each. Also e.g. 8x aquaLUMix 144cm at one SunRiser 8 can be realized this way.
Furthermore, the slave power supplies can be set up decentralized for light control. So only the control cable has to be extended, the cables of the LEDs can be kept short. This neither reduces the efficiency of the LEDs nor increases the susceptibility of the LEDs to interference due to extreme cable lengths. To connect several LED bars to one power supply you can find the LED splitter in our store. Of course all LEDs connected to one slave power supply will be dimmed/controlled together.

Please note:
- The power supplies may only be used with the supplied adapter plug on the SunRiser or DIMIX6.
- The power supplies should be operated with LEDs that require at least 60% of the maximum connected load. Example, if only a 10W LED would be operated at a 480W power supply, no dimming function is given - a base load of min. 60% must be given.
- The dimming function of the power supplies cannot technically implement brightness values in the range of 1-10%, so the LEDs switch on and off at approx. 10% brightness. A very weak glow of the LEDs as allowed by the SunRiser in normal operation is not possible here. For this minimum range, an LED bar connected directly to the light control should be used.

These power supplies in a metal housing operate from 90 to 305V AC (47 to 63Hz) or 127 to 431V DC with an output voltage of 12V. They also have IP65 certification, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor LED lighting applications. With free convection cooling and fanless design, these power supplies have a high efficiency of up to 94% at an operating temperature of -40°C to 80°C. They are also protected against over-voltage, over-temperature, short-circuit and overload by current limiting and an automatic recovery mode, and comply with EN61347-1 and EN61347-2-13 safety standards and EN55015, EN61000-3-2 Class C, EN61000-3-3 and EN61547 EMC standards. These devices also have a wide range input and a built-in PFC function.
