The light is exactly as we imagined it! The corals are also very happy about it!!! The light colour is bright but very pleasant, the cringe effect is only slightly present due to the amount of LEDs, but swimming fish still cast a shadow, the animals are all open and show a beautiful polyp image, the colour of the animals comes out very nicely. Compared to the "old" lighting, it is positive that the smaller LEDs eliminate the spot illumination. Our tank is 130 cm wide, 60 cm deep and 50 cm high. The LEDs are about 17 cm above the water surface.
Update: All corals are still showing their best side. They grow, are beautifully coloured and are open almost all day. Therefore, we strongly assume that they like the light very much. The algae growth that occurred due to the lighting change continues to decrease, which is absolutely normal. Therefore, we can only give positive feedback regarding the corals and the other inhabitants of the tank. The growth is clearly better than under the other lighting, which is certainly also related to the increase in overall performance.
