HEATING WITH LIGHT – Each PRO² LED strip can optionally be used with the innovative heat recovery system, although this is not mandatory. The temperature-optimized aluminum profile also ensures effective passive cooling without this technology. However, with active water cooling, not only is optimal cooling of the LEDs achieved, but the waste heat is also efficiently used to additionally heat the aquarium through heat recovery. Tip: Using a dimmer allows gentle regulation of brightness without visible loss in luminosity. This reduces energy consumption and increases the lifespan – effects that can also be achieved through automatic light control or day simulation.

Caution! This product is a waterproof LED bar (IP67), which can also be used inside the aquarium cover to a freshwater tank. The permanent presence of moisture, the build up of dirt or lime deposits can adversely affect the light quality, output and service life of the LED bars. Therefore we recommend that our CleanCovers are used within the aquarium cover. LED bars cool passively by using the surrounding air. Therefore, there must be an adequate circulation of air. As a rule, the openings for cables and hoses in the cover are adequate for this purpose. Further information. Cautionary advice if the product is used in a seawater environment, see FAQ!
When using watter cooling with sea water or deviant fresh water (eg very low PH), we recommend using the TITAN upgrade.

Sehr schönes Licht in Kombination mit SunsetMix und Blue/RedMix
Sehr schönes Licht. Wasserkühlung funktioniert sehr gut mit der internen Minipumpe, da keine weiteren wasserführenden Schläuche zum Außenfilter geleitet werden müssen. Der Kühleffekt ist deutlich spürbar sofern die Pumpe läuft. In Kombination mit Sunset Red/Blue und den Simu-Lux lässt sich eine tolle Tagessimulation erstellen.

Sehr gut durchdacht
Als Licht habe ich 2x Sunset und 2x Polar in Anlehnung an ein Komplettpaket unter Ergänzung von 2x GROWx5 installiert. Das Gesamtlicht erscheint sehr natürlich, ob ich die Bedürfnisse der Pflanzen optimal getroffen habe, wird sich mit der Zeit zeigen, bisher ist alles gut. Genial ist für mich die Kühlung! Für die Lebensdauer der Halbleiter mit Sicherheit eine gute Investition.
