PRO² - one LED bar - two light colours.

DESCRIPTION
Compared to the eco + version, the PRO² LED bar is equipped with twice as many LEDs and therefore has an outstanding light output. PRO² - one LED bar - two light colours. In addition, PRO² LED bars are configured with two different light colours placed parallel to one another, each capable of being switched and controlled independently, as you would expect.
GROWx5, a unique composition of light consisting of 5 different wavelengths promotes luxuriant plant growth and increases colourfulness. This is due in principle to creating light with balanced proportions of blue and red and extending this with three further specially selected colour bands: green, orange and ultra-red.
POLAR is a cool, white-blue light, but very natural.

HIGHLIGHT
Heat recovery system: Water cooling of the LEDs. The use of water cooling is advantageous but not mandatory. The temperature-optimised aluminium profile of the PRO² LED bar also allows passive cooling. With active water cooling, however, the LEDs are optimally cooled, the waste heat of the LEDs is effectively used and the aquarium is also heated. For more information, see PRO² LED bars and FAQ.
TIP
You can use a dimmer to slightly throttle the output, without the lighting in the aquarium looking noticeably darker. This will reduce electricity consumption and have a positive effect on the service life of LED bars. A similar result can also be achieved with an automatic light control or daylight simulation system.

INSTALLATION
You have various options for installing LED bars:
- You use our deLUX or pure aquarium cover and insert the LED strips into the light profile.
- To install LED bar(s) in existing T5 or T8 waterproof tube sockets, we offer special holders.
- Silicone feet. They allow you to install LED bars very simply, e.g. on the transverse or longitudinal struts or even on the cover plate.
- Our lamp housing is manufactured in aluminium to a modern-looking design and has a very slender cross section. It is particularly suitable for open or glass/acrylic-covered aquariums and can be individually configured with our LED bars. The free choice of fastenings means it can be flexibly used as a side-mounted lamp, suspended lamp or as a frame-mounted lamp as well as inside the aquarium cover.
- With the LED adapter profile, JUWEL and EHEIM aquariums can be upgraded very quickly to a modern LED lighting system. The existing conventional T5 or T8 batten fittings can be replaced 1 for 1 and the cover plates retained.
- U-profile as longitudinal or cross support for LED bars. For easy and flexible mounting of the lighting, also inside a cover.
- If you don't choose one of the above mentioned solutions, 2 screws 2,9x6,5mm are included in delivery which you can use to fix the LED-strip directly.

- 4x stainless steel hose barbs for the connections to the water cooling system
- Fastening screws for the LED bar (if no other method of support forms part of the order!)

A suitable mains adapter and, where appropriate, a distributor must be ordered separately! (see Accessories)
If heat recovery is to be used, the connection material for water cooling must also be ordered separately (see accessories for water cooling).

Caution! This product is a waterproof LED bar (IP67), which can also be used inside the aquarium cover to a freshwater tank. The permanent presence of moisture, the build up of dirt or lime deposits can adversely affect the light quality, output and service life of the LED bars. Therefore we recommend that our CleanCovers are used within the aquarium cover. LED bars cool passively by using the surrounding air. Therefore, there must be an adequate circulation of air. As a rule, the openings for cables and hoses in the cover are adequate for this purpose. Further information. Cautionary advice if the product is used in a seawater environment, see FAQ!
When using watter cooling with sea water or deviant fresh water (eg very low PH), we recommend using the TITAN upgrade.

LED Leiste mit "Richtig Power"
Habe die LED Lichtleiste Growx5/Polar in das Gehäuse einer alten Juwel LED Lampe eingebaut. Diese Hängelampe befindet sich jetzt über einem 50 er Würfel mit hoher Bepflanzug und Sie leuchtet alles gut aus. Da ich schon 2 LED Leisten von LED Aquaristik habe, fiel mir die Entscheidung wieder hier zu kaufen, recht leicht.

Hervorragend!
Die Leuchte übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Musste sie dimmen da sie trotz einem Band Polar sehr hell ist. Die Growx5 kann ich jetzt schon sagen, die Pflanzen wachsen. Das Becken läuft jetzt seit etwa 2 Wochen und es gedeiht bei mir ohne Dünger. Die Wasserkühlung ist genial, über Bypass angeschlossen, die Leuchte ist kühl und wärmt spürbar das Becken. Heizung läuft viel seltener. Daumen hoch für diese gelungene Leuchte!!

Side-mounted lamp = supported on the sides (glass edges) of the aquarium.
The frame profiles and/or support profiles of the cover may have small scratches or stains/colour defects and are therefore not flawless. In some cases, however, the profiles are almost perfect and faults are probably hard to find for the layman. To give you an idea of the flaws mentioned, you will find 3 examples of how this may look in the product images.
