Juwel Rio 400

I have a Juwel Rio 400 with 4 T5 tubes. The problem is that the lights have to be replaced every 6 months. That is expensive. Since my wife runs a saltwater aqua with LEDs, I thought that this should also be possible in freshwater. I searched for it on the net and ended up here, among other places. The information about LEDs is VERY well explained. You can also find your way around the complete sets straight away. In a nutshell .... I have now made a big purchase. Suitable for my 150 cm tank ... Colour LED #1: DAY 5500 K Colour LED #2: Sunset 3500 K Colour LED #3: Polar 7500 K Colour LED #4: Tropic 4500 K And as a treat the moonlight Colour LED #5: Royal Blue 465 nm These data are taken from my SUNRISER 8 :-) (ingeniously programmable via LAN) The whole thing has now been running for about 14 days as a hanging lamp about 15 cm above the tank. Open, so to speak. The LEDs are more intensive than tubes. It takes some getting used to, but my plants and I are thrilled :-) ABSOLUTELY GREAT !!!!!!!!
