140l corner aquarium with aquaLUMix Amazon-Grow 54 cm, SunRiser 8
After some deliberation, I decided on this configuration.
The topic of water cooling was new to me - here I had hesitated whether to use the mini pump or not. After installation, this is no longer a question. The pump is controlled via a free channel of the SunRiser 8 and runs silently. Dimmed to 80 % power, this is completely sufficient for effective cooling.
For the aquaLumix I have programmed a sunrise, moonlight and a so-called midday break based on the example configuration ("day planning"). However, the output of the two main channels is reduced to 90%, which is enough to trigger visible assimilation ("oxygen bubbles") in the ground covers, especially M. tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") after a short lighting period.
The web interface for setting the lighting times is really well designed.
In general, everything makes a very high-quality impression and ledaquaristik has put a lot of thought into user-friendliness; for example, the labelling of the channels and the polarity of the connections to the SunRiser are exemplary.
Freshwater variant or Amazon Grow?
That was also a question. Since the aquarium is heavily planted, it became "Amazon Grow" - and I really like the lighting mood it creates. Alternanthera reineckii "rosanervig" really comes into its own with it.
I am very satisfied.
Greetings from Lake Constance.
