105x50x40 with aquaLUMix

After a long search and after discovering the relevant videos on your YouTube channel, I decided to buy a product from your company. My tank is not that big, 105x50x40. A pair of Vielpunkt Cuckoo Catfish, two small Antenna Catfish and "a handful" of Yellows have been living there for about 10 years. The tank has now been completely rebuilt. Initially, "eco+" LED bars were to be installed in the existing "tecatlantis ELB" light tube support. However, due to the offer of LED adapter profiles, I quickly switched to the "aquaLUMix". Even though the adapter profile did not fit exactly - it was 3mm too long and the flaps in total about 10mm too wide - everything could be adapted well. According to the required light output, I initially decided on the "aquaLUMix LED aquarium light AMAZON-GROW" in 54cm length. This turned out to be wrong - the sides simply remained too dark, because the wide beam angle "only" points sideways. So I decided to go for the longest possible length of 89cm. The delivery came, like the first one, very fast and easy in ingenious packaging. The advantage of using water cooling and the much smaller power required - I only use 95% of the available power from 12:00 to 13:00 - will probably extend the life of the LEDs enormously. From 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., the moon "rises". The plants grow very well, also because I now fertilise them with CO². So all in all, a very satisfactory result.
