The upgrade for the seawater water cooling application consists of two titanium pipes which are pushed into the cooling channels of the lighting system. Contact between aluminium and seawater is thus no longer possible. The titanium pipes must be 100% resistant to the salt water.
As a medium, seawater is extremely aggressive compared to fresh water and would permanently damage the aluminium of our LED lights when using the water cooling.
The installation couldn't be easier. The four tube connections are removed by unscrewing. The titanium pipes are pushed in, the tubes attached to them and additionally securely fixed with the tube clamps.
