The AddON adapter plates can be used in a variety of ways.
Examples:
- As a fastening and for lateral support of the lighting on existing glass bars, especially with low heights and little space, e.g. with Oase Highline.
- For fastening/extending the aquaLUMix, the AddON plates are screwed to the back and serve as a support.
- As an adapter for mounting in Aquatlantis profiles.
- For mounting up to 2 additional LED bars when using our T5/T8 brackets or the DUO bracket as the main bracket. ***
- etc.
The LED bars are securely and directly fixed to the holder using self-tapping screws, with a central groove on the back of the LED bar serving as the anchoring point. This robust construction offers maximum flexibility in positioning and aligning the lighting.
*** At least one 75cm (or longer) LED bar should be mounted on the main brackets in order to be able to position the addON adapter plate centrally between them. See pictures. The prerequisite is sufficient stability of the existing damp-proof lampholders.
This XL version is made of 50% thicker material and is especially suitable for the aquaLUMix.
