These small (10x12cm) and versatile luminaires are suitable for small to large aquariums for full illumination or spot lighting, depending on the number. Choose from the three light compositions – PLANT-MIX, AFRICAN-SUN, and SEAWATER – to create the perfect ambiance for your aquarium. The spotBEAM is equipped with a unique 3-channel COB LED chip that has been optimised for day simulation and dimming control. Thus, the powerful channel 1 provides sufficient light for main illumination, channel 2 a red-heavy light for sunrise and sunset and channel 3 a strong blue-heavy light as moonlight. (SEAWATER differs).

Our adapter profile accommodates multiple spotBEAMs, which can be easily and directly slid into the profile. The adapter profile replaces the existing original light bar on a one-to-one basis. You also have the choice of whether to use your existing lid flaps or order our set including new lid flaps.

Good to know: The specified power rating (Watts) of the power supply does not reflect the actual energy consumption of the lighting. The actual power usage is solely determined by the connected LED bars and the brightness set via the dimmer or lighting control. For example, the energy consumption of a 50W LED setup remains 50W, whether a 100W or 200W power supply is used. However, with a dimmer, the brightness—and consequently the power consumption—of the LED bars can be adjusted and reduced.

Operating Mode

LED Splitter:To connect the spotBEAM directly to the power supply unit for joint on/off operation of all channels.
Lighting Controls: Time-programmable lighting sequences, smooth dimming transitions, sunsets, moonlight, depending on the device and LED light colors.
DIMIX6: Up to 6 LED bars can be dimmed separately by hand.
Please note that the connections for LED bars on the lighting controllers are limited: SunRiser 2XL (2), SimuLUX 24 (5), SunRiser 6 (6). If needed, LED splitters or Y-cables for multiple or dual usage of the connections must be ordered separately. Please refer to the product description of the lighting controllers for details.

The profile has no other funktional restrictions.Our LED adapter profile allows you to upgrade your JUWEL or EHEIM aquarium very quickly to a modern LED lighting system. The LED adapter profile replaces your existing conventional T5 or T8 batten fittings 1 for 1. The existing cover plates are retained and used in conjunction with the new LED adapter profile. It offers room for a maximum of 1x aquaLUMix OR 4x eco+ OR 1x PRO² and 2x eco+ OR 2x PRO² and 1x eco+ LED lighting bars placed in parallel next to one another (see below!). The LED adapter profile offers great flexibility of use and is individually configurable with combinations of different lengths of our LED lighting bars because the retaining clip bridges for the LED lighting bars are freely positionable! The required LED lighting can be ordered separately in our store. The adapter profile is made of high-quality aluminium and manufactured specially for various models of JUWEL and EHEIM aquariums.
