LED bars

Choose LED bars, depending on the lighting needs of your aquarium or the desired extent of a potential day simulation.
Guidance: Sunrise effect with, for example, SUNSET; daylight colors can include TROPIC, DAY, SKY, and/or POLAR. For enhanced plant growth, use PLANT-GROW; for effect colors, choose BLUE (moonlight) and RED (dawn). Note: The higher the K-value (Kelvin), the cooler the light color. For instance, SUNSET is 3500K (warm white), while POLAR is 7500K (cool white).
Lighting requirements: Typically, one LED bar is sufficient for standard needs, while more demanding setups may require up to two LED bars. Please note that the dual-color LED bars have individually controllable light colors, which means you will need two channels on the controller to operate them separately.

Heating with light

Each PRO² LED bar can optionally be used with the innovative heat recovery system, though it is not mandatory. The temperature-optimized aluminum profile provides effective passive cooling even without this technology.
With the active water cooling system, not only is optimal cooling of the LEDs achieved, but the waste heat is also efficiently utilized to additionally heat the aquarium through heat recovery. Our calculation tool shows the potential of heat recovery.

Connection materials for operating the water cooling system

Supply the water cooling system with a separate mini pump (controllable via the light controller) that circulates the aquarium water through the LED bar(s). Multiple LED bars can also be connected in series. The 180° silicone bend is used to connect the inlet and outlet of the LED bar, allowing the water to return. Ultimately, the water flows back into the aquarium after one complete cycle. Cleaning brushes are included for occasional maintenance to ensure optimal performance at all times.

With these brackets, up to 4 LED bars can easily be mounted in the original Aquatlantis/Tecatlantis light bar. The existing EASY LED is removed from the Aquatlantis aluminum profile for this purpose. Afterwards, our LED bars are attached to the brackets and reinserted into the aluminum profile, leaving the aquarium cover unchanged.

The S set is suitable for a maximum of 1 PRO² LED bars.
The M set is suitable for a maximum of 2 PRO² LED bars.
The L set is suitable for up to 4 PRO² LED bars up to about 80 cm in length, as it consists of a single continuous bracket.
The XL set is suitable for up to 4 PRO² LED bars from about 80 cm in length, as it consists of two separate brackets.

Good to know: The specified power rating (Watts) of the power supply does not reflect the actual energy consumption of the lighting. The actual power usage is solely determined by the connected LED bars and the brightness set via the dimmer or lighting control. For example, the energy consumption of a 50W LED setup remains 50W, whether a 100W or 200W power supply is used. However, with a dimmer, the brightness—and consequently the power consumption—of the LED bars can be adjusted and reduced.

LED Splitter: Connect up to 6 LED bars directly to the power supply for on/off operation. (=always 100% power)
Lighting Controls: Time-programmable lighting sequences, smooth dimming transitions, sunsets, moonlight, depending on the device and LED light colors.
Please note that the connections for LED bars on the lighting controllers are limited: SunRiser 2XL (2), SimuLUX 24 (5), SunRiser 6 (6). If needed, LED splitters or Y-cables for multiple or dual usage of the connections must be ordered separately. Please refer to the product description of the lighting controllers for details.
