Adapters for connecting LED lights and possibly power supplies from third-party manufacturers to our day simulators, light controllers, or dimmers.
The selection includes the following adapter :
- Connection cable for SunRiser 8, 6, and DIMIX6: If a third-party power supply without a plug is to be used.
All power supplies purchased from us in combination with a SunRiser 8, 6, or DIMIX6 are already compatible!
If a SunRiser 8, 6, or DIMIX6 is purchased from us without a power supply, this adapter is already included!
CONNECTION
The connection of lighting and power supply to our controllers is made without plugs. The SunRiser controllers have plug-in screw terminals, to which the cables of lighting or power supply are directly clamped. To avoid cutting off your existing plugs, we offer suitable adapters.
The individual channels of the SunRiser controllers are each occupied with the +pole and -pole of your lighting. If you want to connect multicolored lighting that has a common +pole, it must be divided among the appropriate number of channels/colors/-poles. Also, the maximum power (per channel or total) of the respective controller must be considered, see product description or overview of light controllers.
The power supply is provided with ONE power supply compatible with the lighting. Voltage 12 to 24VDC.
Attention: Mixed operation of 12V, 20V, and/or 24V products is not possible! Either or!

Connecting an RGB lighting using the example of an Econlux SolarStinger Fresh 35.
This is an RGBW LED lighting, i.e., RGB LEDs (Red, Green, Blue) and W for single-color white LEDs. Thus, this model has a total of 4 separately controllable channels/light colors. Since the power supply is permanently connected to the lamp, the cable must be cut and connected to the light controller (SunRiser 4+ or 8). It is a 6-core cable configured as follows:
- Brown = Plus
- White = Minus (white light)
- Red = Minus (red light color of the RGB)
- Green = Minus (green light color of the RGB)
- Blue = Minus (blue light color of the RGB)
- Yellow = Minus (not used here, possibly UV light in other models)
Connecting a Juwel HeliaLux to the SunRiser 2XL. The light colors White and Blue are thus separately dimmable and controllable.
This involves a 3-core cable configured as follows:
- Brown = Plus
- Gray = Minus (white light)
- Blue = Minus (blue light)
